It happened... I finally got my hands on the Photoshop 5.0 and started messing around with pictures.
What better way to use my newly grant powers than by creating awards for the internet community? (as if there weren’t enough awards for Anime pages already) ^_^.

So, with no further ado, let’s explain how you can apply for the following awards.

One way would be for me to “accidentally” pass by your page, like it, and then send you the award(s). But I don’t really think I’ll be doing that. If you want your page to compete for the award(s), you’ll have to e-mail me to [email protected] and let me know it exists. I prefer to make sure the winners WANT the award. If I just give these like free samples, there’s no possible way for me to know if you’ll appreciate (or even want) the award(s).

After you sent me you application, I’ll check your page as soon as possible. My reply on whether if you won or not will get to you in a week or so.

This is your typical overall-evaluation-award. You’re page must count with the following:

1. Must be about Anime or related to Anime.

2. NO Hentai sites.

3. Your page can be in English, French or Spanish.

4. Must have good use of images or graphics.

5. Mustn’t take too long to load.

6. Must be organized in an efficient way so that all visitors can find what they’re looking for without searching through the whole page for half an hour.

7. The bigger the page, the better, but this is optional.

8. Must be original. In other words, it should have something that stands out from the usual (usual = link section, author information, picture gallery, etc...) .

To make the long story short, your page must make me say “wow!”. Don’t feel scared though. I’m not as demanding as I sound. If there’s something on your page that captivates me, it’s highly probable that you’ll win the award.
 

Comedy is something I almost consider holly. Throughout my net search I’ve noticed that there aren’t any awards given to funny Anime pages.
Well... not any more.

This award will be given to Anime pages which have something to laugh about (in the good sense of the word, of course).

The requirements for your page to compete for the award are more or less the same than for the previous award.

1. Must be about Anime or related to Anime.

2. NO Hentai sites.

3. Your page can be in English, French or Spanish.

But more importantly, it MUST have something hilarious in it. I don’t care if you have a dull white background. I don’t care if your page takes too long to load. I don’t care if it’s badly organized. Heck! I don’t even care if there’s no images.

Anything can be hilarious. A picture, a comment, the nature of the page, a story. Even dirty language is permitted as long as it’s funny (I’m very flexible in that area, but I do have a limit).

This award sounds easy to win, doesn’t it? Well you’re wrong!
Your page mustn’t be funny, it must be HILARIOUS!
How will I determine hilarity? Like this.

First apply for the award. I’ll check you page then after (or either check the part you say you think is funny). If it makes me laugh, I’ll take it into consideration. Two days later, I’ll check it again. If it still makes me laugh, the award is all yours. If not, well, I’ll let you know you didn’t win anyway.

This award is a little different from the previous two. Actually, it’s more like a reward or a token of my appreciation. If you’re a regular visitor in my webpage, you might have noticed that I’m starting to translate my fanfics into Spanish. Unfortunately, my time is scarce just as it is, which hampers the possibility of translating my entire page in order to have it in two languages.
Okay, I’ll cut to the chase. This award will be given to all of those who help me translate my page into Spanish. Like I said, I don’t have enough time to do it all myself.

So, if this little award caught your eye and you have a descent level of Spanish writing, contact me so we can cut a deal.

I know that this might sound unfair for those of you who want the award and know zero of Spanish. In any case, I’ll change the rules to apply for this award in the future, but right now, translating my page into Spanish is one of my top priorities and that will be the only way to win the awards until said otherwise.
