Team Nerima (from the "Ranma 1/2" series)

This team is entirely formed of martial artists (yet... again). However, this isn’t your average martial artist team since it is quite unique. Especially when referring to the players. Speed, strength, good looks, sexual diversity, special techniques. This team has it all... Now... if only the team members stopped fighting between themselves, they would be able to achieve better results.

Ranma Saotome:

You ‘could’ say that Ranma is the team captain. However, unlike other team captains, instead of being the source of solution and order, he’s known for being a source of chaos and trouble. However, even if he doesn’t get some cooperation from his team, he’s quite a capable player and can do very well on his own. Has excellent speed and strength which go beyond the ordinary for a human. Not to mention that he’s great at improvising (but he’s horrible at planning ahead). On a more personal note, he has a curse which changes his gender each time he’s splashed with cold water. And as a more social note, he has an unusual number of suitors and rivals.

Akane Tendou:

Ranma’s fiancée (one of many, at least). As to be expected, she’s also a martial artist, so her performance is rather good, but let it be noted that among her group, she should be considered the weakest member (which is only relatively speaking). Her two big flaws though are her jealousy and her short temper. Most of her time is spent arguing with Ranma and if you’re smart, you’ll stay on her good side.

Ryouga Hibiki:

The only member here who isn’t one of Ranma’s fiancée. As a matter of fact, he’s Ranma’s rival. His skills in martial arts are barely below his adversary to which we can say that he’s a formidable martial artist as well. However, unlike his rival, Ryouga counts with an inhuman strength and endurance instead of inhuman speed and technique. Among his flaws are his short temper, too emotional behavior, but mostly, his complete lack of direction sense (which hampers the team quite a lot). BTW, he also has a Jusekyou curse which transforms him into a little black pig who Akane has named P-Chan.

Ukyou Kuonji:

Another martial artist, and yes, another one of Ranma’s fiancées. Ukyou is a great okonomiyaki cook, but also a good player... considering she doesn’t start to fight with Shampoo during the game... In any case, her place is in the defense. Watch out for that giant spatula of hers.

Shampoo:

Ranma fiancée, martial artist (I guess you know how the thing goes by now). Shampoo might just be the strongest ‘full time’ female member (‘full time’ as in ‘not counting Ranma in her female form’). Since she’s a Chinese martial artist trained by one of the most renowned elders of her tribe, you can expect a lot from her. How reliable is she? Well... it all depends if she’s fighting with Ukyou or not. Her Jusenkyou curse changes her into a cat, which should be told isn’t good for Ranma’s alurophobia.
