This team is formed entirely by teenagers. It’s strength depends pretty much on which one of the team players has the ball. Although their coordination is excellent.
 
 
 

Shinji Ikari:

Shinji would be a great team leader... that is if he had any b@!!$. Although he has a high potential as an Eva pilot, he just doesn’t have what it takes to be a good leader. Shinji is the kind of person who instead of giving orders, just follows them. The fact that he has a very low image of himself doesn’t help much either.
 
 
 

Asuka Langley Sohryu:

The exact opposite from Shinji. This girl is (over)confident, loud, arrogant and thinks of herself as the true leader of the team. If she doesn’t like you, she’ll tell it to you with that ‘in your face’ attitude. Be that as it may, she is quite competent in sports. Maybe it’s due to her big ego which forbids her to lose or be seen as second best.
 
 
 

Rei Ayanami:

Yet another odd personality. Rei doesn’t talk much. She doesn’t argue much either. Not to mention that she doesn’t give her opinion often. When she talks, she just says the minimum. Did I mention that seeing her smile is very rare? When it comes to her basketball skills, the answer is unkown.
 
 
 

Touji Suzuhara:

If you walk down the street and pass ten persons, Touji would be one of them. He’s just a plain guy. Has a sister, goes to school and doesn’t have a particular dark past like the previous three players. Pretty simple really. Although he is rather good at sports. Basketball not being an exception.
 
 
 

Kensuke Aida:

The nerd of the team. Just like Touji, this guy is as plain as they come. What he’s doing in the team is unknown. His basketball skills are low except when they’re related with Arcade games.
 
 
 

Misato Katsuragi:

The glue that holds the whole team together. Without Misato, the team would go kaput. She’s the one in charge of coordinating all of team NERV’s players. Since she’s a great strategist, her results are more than satisfying. She has kind of a drinking problem though.
