Since this features characters from several series, some of them are undeniably out of character and may even have a relationship between them. All I can say is visit my Church of Crossover Couples at . Yes, this is a stupid way of advertising it, but hey, I want more people to vote. Enough rambling, let's start the story! MST of "Boy Meets Girls" by Julian Soullard Part 6 of 8 Goku yawned. "How long have we been in here?" Cloud shrugged. "A little more than two hours, I think." "We have got three more chapters to review." Ranma sighed. "I should have known that with the amount VGAP paid me, it wouldn't be a short review." Cloud shrugged again. "It can be worse." "How?" "You could be reviewing a really crappy or disgusting fanfic. You could be doing this with an arrogant author character. You could be eating Miss Tendo's cooking." Ranma shuddered. "If you put it that way..." "Actually, I wanted to talk to you about it, Ranma." Goku said. "About what?" "I have heard from time to time that Akane's cooking is horrible. But what makes it so bad?" Goku asked. "Well, for one thing, she often mistakes ingredients." She explained. "For example, she mistook the vinegar with white wine. She did the same thing with vegetable oil too. There's also the fact that she HATES following recipe. She adds too much stuff that can't possibly match well, like mayonnaise, seaweed, and chili sauce. Also, she's hopeless with a knife, she doesn't have patience so burns things almost all the time, and she has some fundamental misunderstanding about what NOT to do, such as putting eggs in a microwave." "That sounds bad," Goku agreed, "but still, it's at least edible, right? It's not really lethal or anything, is it?" "It's not as bad as in some fanfics, but it's close. Her okonomiyaki could knock people out, for instance. It varies from time to time, but it's never a pleasant experience." The girls came back, each wearing an annoyed expression. It took little thinking to conclude that they had a disagreement again, mostly because they were still arguing. "You have to be joking." Hikaru said to Usagi. "You don't even have basic fighting skills, but you manage to stay largely unharmed by pure luck. That's more than enough of a proof!" "No it's not!" Usagi retorted. "We can't just kill them by a simple hit with a sword. They need to be hit with a really powerful shot. And two or three hit from them is enough to knock us out, while you stay concsious even after a dozen hit or so! And don't even think about saying that you're tougher than us!" "What are you two arguing about this time?" Goku asked tiredly. "Whether monsters that appear in Juuban are stronger than monsters in Cephiro." Usagi answered. "Don't you two ever run out of materials to shout over?" "A stupid question to ask, Goku." Cloud grinned. "Come on, everyone." Ranma said. "The fanfic's starting again." The reviewers sat down, some more reluctantly than others, and watched the story resume. >Dragon ball Z/Sailor Moon fanfic. > >"Boy meets girls" > >By Julian Soullard (e-mail: jnsoullard@hotmail.com) > Cloud: We will skip the disclaimers, as usual. > >---------------------------------------------------------------------- >-------------------------------------------------------------- > > AND NOW ON WITH.... > > Chapter 6: Weekend at the beach. > > > >The five Senshi were sitting at a table in Rei's room, Artemis and Luna Ranma: GYAAAAAAA!!! Hikaru: Isn't that what you're doing with Ranma right now? Usagi: Uh... So what?! I'm the queen, so I can make polygamy legal! Ranma: (panics) NONONONO!!! Please don't do that, Usagi! Usagi: What? Ranma: Just once or twice? He can fly, you know. I think he can go to a beach anytime he wants to, so shouldn't he have had more experiences? Ah well, it's not important. > >"Well you know Ami," she added "she's the sweet girl of the gang." > >"I can see that." he affirmed "But I still can't figure out how all of >you girls ever came together. Hikaru: As far as I know, nobody ever wrote us in a lemon story, while you all have been in dozens. Cloud: Actually, I did find a MKR lemon. I think it was about Fuu. Hikaru: Fuu?! I mean... er... she's not only cute," Trunks responded "I mean... >she's fun to talk to, a great cook and very sweet also." > >"She could make a great girlfriend, right?" she brought out. Cloud: Capitalization errors. Usagi: Trunks, you idiot! Hikaru: Fist of the North Star? First he falls asleep at her choice of movie, then he takes her to a really bloody, angst-filled anime? I'm surprised she hasn't dumped him already. > >All four of her friends sighed in a sign of lost cause. > >"Maybe you should give up on him, Mako-chan." Rei told her "It looks >like a lost cause the way I see it." Usagi: It's not good to repeat same words so quickly. Hikaru: I just noticed something. Wasn't that spare part for his time machine supposed to have arrived by now? Why doesn't Trunks leave? Cloud: The author is going for a "star-crossed lovers" ending, I think. He has to stay a little longer to fall for Makoto. > >"Rei might be right," Ami added "maybe it's not so bad having him just >as a friend." > >"No way," Makoto said determined "I'm not going to quit." > >"Listen, Mako-chan." The sentence: three nights straight of Barney reruns! >"Don't tell me you're felling guilty again?" she asked. > >"Hun??" he was surprised how well she knew him "Guess I can't fool >you." Cloud: "Huh" misspelled again. > >"Listen," she said "you don't have to feel this way, you know you did >okay, and I'm still alive, so stop felling guilty." > >"Kind of a close call the way I see it..." he replied. Ranma: Well, it would have been too boring if it wasn't, wouldn't it? > >Makoto put her arms around his neck and gave him a big hug. > >"I promise you I won't let myself get killed." she told him while she >held him tightly "Does that makes you feel any better now?" > >Trunks didn't answered, he still wasn't convinced about that, and still >felt sad even though she was hugging him, he knew she meant well by >trying to comfort him. His guilt was something hard to get rid of. >Taking him by surprise, Makoto gave him a fast kiss in the lips. Trunks >stood there completely paralyzed. Makoto then let go of him and headed >towards her room. > >"You'll be okay." she told him as she entered her room "Sweet >dreams..." Usagi: Bravo! Bravo! Hikaru: Boo! Boo! Goku: (whispering to himself) How immature... > >"Er... right... er... Good night..." he said once his feet reached the >ground again. Cloud: What, was he floating again? > >Makoto's door closed behind her leaving a confused Trunks standing >alone by the hall. He touched his lips with the tip of his finger still >not sure of what just happened; once he noticed he was standing alone >in front of his door he went inside his room and laid over the bed. >He wasn't felling guilty anymore, now he was confused beyond belief. > >"What was that all about?" he asked himself while looking at the >ceiling, still not very sure as how he felt for Makoto and still >couldn't get out of his mind what Usagi told him in the train. > >"Makoto Kino..." he said in a low tone of voice as he slowly began to >fall asleep. Ranma: And so the relationship between Trunks and Makoto takes a further step. > > > > >End of chapter 6. Usagi: Okay, time for summary. Overall, this was a pretty good chapter. Most scenes were either amusing or exciting, with many potentials for future conflicts and events. Best of all, Trunks and Makochan is growing closer in a very nice, believable way. On the down side, there are the usual grammar and OOC hinderances. Still, this should make the reader want to read the next part. >---------------------------------------------------------------------- >----------------------------------------------------- > >Author's notes: > >There it is, chapter 6 is completed. You certainly must be asking >yourself, Why Trunks is unable to find out that the Sailor Senshi are >the girls he spends most of his time with and vice versa? (actually you >surely must be asking yourself that question since chapter 2, but it >just hit me to answer that until now). Well for one thing, things are a >lot more entertaining this way and I really wanted to give Trunks a >secret identity to showoff his skills in combat. Let's say that Trunks >can't identify them because the Senshi doesn't use ki but magic >instead. I don't know, maybe that makes thing more difficult for >him............but then again, this might just be another of my lame >excuses. >Okay, let's put it this way: Trunks won't ask the girls how come when >they transform they become irrecognizable even though they look EXACTLY >the same, as long as they don't ask him why his mother named him after >men underwear and why he doesn't have a last name ^_^. Ranma: In other words, it's those questions you really aren't supposed to ask. > > >See you in chapter 7... > > Ranma got up and said, "I'm going to get some hot water." Cloud smirked. "Don't want to feel the throes of femininity anymore, huh?" "Very funny, Mr. I-am-not-gay." "I would rather be called that than be an aquatranssexual." Cloud replied as Ranma stomped out of the theater. Meanwhile, Usagi was thinking about her reluctant lover's new problem. She didn't know that Ranma's female body could actually be affected by a male body. What she did know was that she needed to help him reassure of his virility, as she didn't want to risk, however slim the chance might be, him falling for a man. Not surprisingly, Hikaru was thinking along the same line of thought, trying to come up with a solution.
