COMMERCIAL BRAKE! Narrator: He may be young, but he knows how to use his brains. Inside of Chronos Japan, Sho Fukamachi (also known as Guyver I) and his best friend Tetsuro Segawa (also known as the fat guy who's always at Sho's side) are running through the corridors of the organization, trying to find a way out. As the two make a left turn, they find a door. Tetsuro tries to open it, but alas it is locked. Tetsuro: Damn!! Locked! And I can hear the soldiers coming. Sho! You have to do something!! Sho: Don't worry. I have everything under control. Tetsuro: You show'em, Sho. Blast those suckers into another lifetime. Sho: With the help of my belt, this five yen coin and my zipper, I'll be able to create a gizmo that'll help us unlock the door from the room inside. Tetsuro: What?? Sho, don't start with that again! Just put your Guyver unit on and deal with the soldiers!! Sho: I want to do this my way, if you don't mind. Narrator: That's right. The Mac Guyver always thinks of a way to confront his enemies without the use of violence. Only the use of his brains. Tetsuro: Com'on, Sho, there's no time for this!! Sho: Shhh!! I'm working here... Okay, it didn't work... Time for plan B. Tetsuro: Putting you Guyver unit on? Sho: No. Since the lock on the door is controlled by a computer which locks and unlocks the door according to time, all I have to do is set the clock on the wall at 9:30 AM, which is the time when the door will open. Now... to do this, I'm going to use the magnet I took out from the telephone's receiver. Like that I'll be able to move the hands of the clock without anyone noticing. Tetsuro: Damn it, Sho!! Just put the stupid unit on and do it the old way. Narrator: Using tools no one would ever think of, as well as keeping a serene mind, the Mac Guyver creates a magnificent invention that can pull him out of any sort of dangerous situation. Sho: That's odd... it didn't work. Narrator: Although... sometimes... things don't go as planned. Voice: Sho, stop fooling around. As Sho and Tetsuro turn around to see who it is, we see a teenager with long black hair. It's Agito Makishima (also known as Guyver III). Tetsuro: Agito, it's you. Thank God you're here! Agito: We don't have much time. We have to do this fast. Tetsuro: Finally, someone who's reasonable. Agito: The trick here is to jam the circuit that locks the door. To do that we'll use these two electric cables I pulled out of a socket and put the positive pole against the negative one. That way we'll create a continuous circuit that will divert the electronic lock. Then, voila! The door will open... Sho, let me borrow your pocketknife for this. Tetsuro: This can't be happening... Narrator: Will the Mac Guyvers manage to escape from Chronos? Find out this Thursday at eight. Here, on the Anime Channel... END OF COMMERCIAL BRAKE! There were two particular persons (besides Mars and Asuka) who weren't very happy right now. Inside what was once an office, Narsus and Shinobu were busy checking out the forms Gendou Ikari had given in order to justify the so-called 'special equipment' Team Nerv was using for today's event. Although the place looked a little more organized (in order to move around more freely at least) the twosome's job was far from finished and not even half way done. "I can't believe this!" Narsus complained. "Listen to this, Shinobu: For further reference on transportation of the Nerv equipment, please refer to articles 20 to 26 from the British Navigation act." "Correct me if I'm wrong," Shinobu said, "but the British Navigation act was written in 1557." Narsus just threw the document away in sign of resignation. "It's no use, Shinobu. There's simply too much red tape here." "I agree. This is getting us nowhere." the purple haired guy added, "Besides, the game is half way started, so there's no point in finding out which strings did commander Ikari pull. I say we forget about this." "Suggestion accepted." the Palsian strategist agreed. "We should be using our time in solving more important things. After all, our employer doesn't seem to mind if the rules are bent. We better let this one pass." "Speaking of important matter which need our attention..." Shinobu brought out. "Did you had any luck finding candidates for Team #16?" "Unfortunately, no." Narsus confessed. "I tried to get a hold on the Urameshi Team, but it seems that Koema sent them on a mission to the Makai." "Too bad, since there's four of them, it would have been practical to make them join Ataru." Shinobu sighed. "I had the same luck with the Bakuretsu Hunter group." "Hmmm... I think Ataru will be even more disappointed. I bet he wouldn't have minded being near those two girls." Interrupting their little chat, a screen suddenly began to descend from the roof. As it turned on, the duo saw their boss staring from the other side. Both of them quickly got up. "Sir." "Gentlemen," Lord Jade said, "I've been informed that Ryouga Hibiki has disappeared. I want the two of you to locate him before tomorrow's game." "Yes, sir." "And by the way," he added, "have you solved the Team #16 problem?" "We're working on it as we speak, sir." Narsus responded. "Good. I want that fixed as soon as possible." The screen went off and returned back into the ceiling, from where it came. The two UBT assistants let out a sigh of relief. "We *have* to find other candidates soon, my friend." Shinobu stated. "Indeed. We must." Narsus confirmed, "But for now, I might as well go tell Isamu to prepare his aircraft. It a good thing you thought of putting a locater on Ryouga. It will save us a lot of time." ********** "Tough game we have today." Tamahome brought out as he took a sip of his soda. " Girls." Tasuki added, "How stupid they look bickering for something so silly." "Silly? Don't you know anything about girls, Tasuki?" Miaka fumed. "Of course not." the fan wielding seishi answered. "Why should I waste my time even trying?" "That girl's honor was stained!" she stated in an vain attempt of making his friend understand. "Didn't you see that she was publicly humiliated? She has all the right in the world to be angry." "So? That's not going to make her team win." "Big talk coming from a hot head like you." Tamahome countered. "Watch your mouth, pretty boy!!" "Well, that little incident put aside," Chiriko cut in, "Team Nerv seems to be controlling the game easily. I wonder if the Sailor Senshi will be able to change things." "Well, that's what you get when you don't put any men in a team." Tasuki stated with his arms crossed behind his head. "Heh, you could say they lack of 'man'power." "Oh, please, grow up!" Miaka declared. "Aside from that guy called Touji, the other two haven't done much. Actually, the girl called Asuka has been doing most of the job. And the Senshi team hasn't been doing so bad either and ALL of them are girls." "And look at the result." the redhead seishi told her. "The scoreboard is 17 to 24. That's pathetic. Any other team would have scored 30 to 40 points by now. But I guess you're right about one thing: That Asuka girl and that Mars chick have a lot of guts. But it'll take more than that if they want to impress me." Miaka decided to leave the argument as it was. Convincing Tasuki that girls were not the weak sex would be like teaching a hamster how to read. "Two more minutes before the second half starts, girls." Venus stated, "We need a plan *now*." "Actually, may I suggest something?" Mercury asked. "Please do." "Well," the young genius began, "I believe Team Nerv is very dependent on the instructions it gets from the people in that little control room. If we can disrupt their communication, there's a high possibility that we could get the upper hand in this match." "And how can we do that?" Moon asked. "I could try to send a virus to their system with my computer." "Well, we definitively should have thought about that earlier." Jupiter said. "Just send the virus and we'll start scoring points in no time." "Actually, there's a little problem with this strategy." Mercury went on. "Which is?" Mars asked. "Well, in order to upload the virus in Team Nerv's computer, I need time. Eight minutes to be precise. If I'm busy with the virus, I won't be able to help out in the game during that time." "Which means we're left with four players instead of five." Venus remarked. "Team Nerv can score even more points then." "Not to mention that if they're unaffected by the results of the virus, there will be no way to catch up with the time that's left." Jupiter added. "Well, it's a gamble." Mercury stated. "What do you think? Should I do it?" "You do that, Ami." Moon told her. "The rest of us will hold down Team Nerv for as long as we can." "Okay, and we're back!" Honey began, "The second half is about to start with the scoreboard 17 to 24 in favor of Team Nerv. Let's see if the Sailor Senshi are able to change that in the 20 minutes that are left." "The ball is in Team Nerv's hands." Belldandy continued. "Number 7, Shinji Ikari, proceeds towards the basket while being supported by number 4 and 10. Sailor Mars tries to steal, but #7 passes to #11. Jupiter tries to intercept, but she only manages to send the ball of course. Rei Ayanami saves it before it goes out... Team Nerv is rethinking it's strategy." >>>Kintaro-O-vision<<< Ouch! Why did she had to hit me so hard? It still hurts. Well... I guess there's a lesson to be learned here. Where's my notebook so I can write it down? That's odd, I thought I had it here a minute ago. Maybe it fell from my seat. Let's see... Ah, here it is! Okay, today's lesson: Angry girls hit very hard. There we go. "Kintaro!!" I hear someone shouts. Oh, look, it's Pai. "You're missing the game!!" Oh yeah!! I forgot! Okay, Kintaro, start paying attention already! You're suppose to be the referee here, so start acting like one. Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT pay attention to the lovely babes in skimpy outfits nor the bodacious girls who've been bless with a generous puberty. Just look at the ball and everything will be all right. All righty, look at the ball, look at the ball, look at the ball... Okay, the ball is bouncing. That's good. Ball is bouncing. Ball is bouncing. Bouncing. Bouncing. Bouncy. Bouncy. Bouncy girls. Bouncy girls. Bouncy gir... ARGGGH!!! I'm doing it again!! I can't help it!! Okay, plan B: Ignore the girls, just look at the numbers on their shirt. Okay, number 10 has the ball and passes to number 4. Number 4 is being blocked by number 8 from the opposite team. Number 4 passes to number 11... Hey, this is actually working. Cool! Okay, number 11 moves towards the Senshi's basket, but number 5 slaps the ball off her hand... Gee, that Mars girl sure needs to work on her aggression, but there was no foul. Anyway, the ball goes rolling to the other side, but number 7 from the Nerv Team takes it back and sends it to number 4. Number 8 and 6 from the Senshi Team try to block her. Number 4 protects the ball by tightly pressing it against her voluptuous chest... Oh, GOD, I wish I could be that ball right now... Just look at the way her breast shape when she holds it... Oh yeah, Ohhh yeah! That's it! That's the shape I'm talking about. You just keep pressing that... ARRRGGGGHHHHH!! I did it again!! And I was doing so well a moment ago!! >>>Kintaro-O-vision<<< "Now this is odd..." Honey noticed. "Sailor Mercury is standing still in a corner of the field. She's not even participating. Looks like she's busy with her portable computer instead." "Oh my, you're right." Belldandy realized. "I wonder what she's doing?" "Well, I don't know," her co-host declared, "but I can definitively tell you what she's *not* doing. She's not guarding her basket and there comes Touji and... I can't believe it!! She didn't even tried to block him. The scoreboard is now 17 to 26 in favor of Team Nerv. What is wrong with Mercury?" [Just try to hold on a little longer, girls.] Mercury begged. ********** "It's so nice of you to help me with all my chores, Mamoru-san." Kasumi said sweetly. "It's nothing, really." this one responded. "It's the least I could do. It wouldn't be right if I let you carry all of these packages." Next to him, his two cat companions just glared at him. The tux dressing hero couldn't really blame them though. He was, after all, suppose to check UBT's control room instead of playing the hero-helping-the-damsel- in-distress. Actually... Mamoru still wasn't very sure how he ended up in this particular situation in the first place. Moments ago, he *had* his mind focused on his mission. That is... until he bumped into Kasumi. He did feel bad for making her fall. So, as a way to compensate for his clumsiness, he offered his help in carrying the girl's packages. It was, after all, the least he could do. What he thought would take only a few minutes, took longer than he expected it. Right now he was still by the Tendou girl's side while helping her with her several chores and he couldn't find a way out of this mess. Mamoru reached to the conclusion that he was too much of a gentleman for his own good. He just hoped that Usagi wouldn't see him like this, which would cause a natural jealousy reaction in her that would take hours to calm down. ********** Misato Katsuragi had her undiverted attention on the game. Right now, Ritsuko, Maya and Makoto were in charge of coordinating the players of her team. This gave her the opportunity to see the 'field of combat' in more general terms. The scoreboard was 32 to 22 in their favor. But still, Misato felt that something was wrong. You didn't fought Angels for as long as she did without gaining experience of some sort. Although everything pointed out that Team Nerv had the game in the bag, the purple haired woman held a certain degree of doubt in that. Surely she had trained all of the five children in order to be ready for this event. In spite of the lack of time, she was very impressed by how much the team had accomplished with just two week of intense training. But still, Mercury's behavior since the beginning of the second half had caused her to worry. It's been eight minutes and the only thing the girl had done was messing around with her computer, ignoring completely her surrounding. This was too strange. What was she up to? There had to be a reason for this little scene, but Misato couldn't figure out what it could be. That annoyed her. Wait... Mercury stopped working on whatever she was doing as she put her computer away. Misato clearly saw how the girl's face lit up with a big smile as she ran to her friends' side. "What the..." she heard behind her. "What's wrong with my computer?" Maya added. Misato's eyes widen as the idea struck her. She quickly went to the nearest screen to confirm her preoccupation. It was all clear now... [A virus!] she thought, [So that's what she was up to.] "What's happening?" Gendou asked from his seat. "I... I'm not sure..." Ritsuko answered. "The computer, there's something wrong with it. It... it just..." "What is it doing?" the commander asked again, not liking the sound of things. "It... it just started a new mission for Star Craft." Makoto reported. "The kids." Misato said. "What about them? Do we still have contact with them?" "All contact with the players has been lost!" Meanwhile in the field: "Hey, what's going on?" Touji asked, as he began to hear interference in his communicator. "Hey, Ritsuko, are you still there?" /º Dale a tu cuerpo alegría, Macarena... /º "Wha... what's that song??" Asuka asked in disgust. /º Eeeeehhhh Maaacarena, aaAAAHAAAAaa!! /º "AAARRRRGGGHHHHHH!!!" Kensuke shouted in sheer horror, right before throwing his communicator away. The rest of the Nerv Team (except Rei) didn't took long in imitating him. "Guys! What are you doing?!?" Misato shouted from outside the field. "Keep those things on!!" "Are you crazy?!?" Asuka yelled, "There's no way I'm listening to that song!! Do you want to cause us permanent brain damage??" "The ball!!" "What?" With all the commotion, the Nerv players completely forgot about their opponents. Jupiter, who had the ball at that time, didn't waste the opportunity and quickly ran towards the basket. When her adversaries finally realized what was happening, it was too late. The Thunder Senshi had already dunked the ball, putting the scoreboard 32 to 24. Sailor Moon congratulated Jupiter for her job. It looked like Mercury's plan was already on the move. The smile on her face seem to say that. "Now it's our turn." Moon said to herself. "Girls, let's win this game!!" The Nerv players were still confused about this matter. Kintaro actually had to tell them that the ball was in their hands in order to make them snap out of it. Commander Gendou Ikari asked for a time-out, therefore regrouping his team. "Could someone please tell me what's going on??" Asuka demanded. "Yeah, I mean, what kinda sick joke was that?" Kensuke added. "Guys, I won't lie to you." Misato explained. "We have a virus in our computers and it's messing with out communication system." "You could say that again..." Touji mumbled. "In any case," she went on, "until we can neutralize it, you'll be on your own in what's left of the game. Now... even though you won't be receiving instructions from us, I'm sure that all five of you will manage to work as a team. In the meantime, we'll try to come up with an anti-virus." "Oh no!!" Makoto cursed from his computer. "What?" Ritsuko asked worried, "What is it? Has the virus mutated into something worst?" "No! My troops are being attacked by Zergs and they're getting killed!" the Nerv employee answered. "Makoto!! Stop playing Star Craft already!!" ********** Her big brown eyes stared at him. *He* was the one. The only one. Of all the men she had previously met, none of them could even compare to him. Her stomach rumbled in a mixture of anxiety and fear, but she managed to keep a stern look on her face. She could practically smell that he was probably feeling the same thing as well. There she was. Standing before him, staring at him with those big brown eyes. Could it be destiny that made them find each other? Was it determined to be this way? He couldn't tell. Life was full of little surprises. Before today, he never would have imagined meeting with such a girl. Heck! He didn't even imagine, not even in his wildest dreams, that such person of the opposite sex could exist. No... She had to face him. She couldn't ignore him just like that. She would be lying to herself if she pretended that this man didn't affect her in such a way. Before him... no man, no man at all had cost her so much trouble. But today... it would be different. Woodchuck was going to learn the hard way that no one was above Nabiki Tendou. He had to admit that his pride was somewhat hurt after the last encounter he had with her. Imagine: Woodchuck, master of thievery, unable to beat a girl half his age at Poker. No... things *shouldn't* be like that. He had to win! Not for the money, but for the glory. He had to show that arrogant girl that if you want to beat Woodchuck, you have to get up reeeaaaally early in the morning. "Nabiki." he said. "Woodchuck." she responded. "I see you are rested." "Same as you, I must say." "Shall we?" he asked, while gesturing the way towards the dinning room. "Yes, we shall." she answered, as she began to walk towards the appointed direction. "Poker?" "So be it." ********** The game resumed with the Nerv players a little less confused. If they could keep the score board to their advantage for the remaining twelve minutes they would win. The question was: could they do it now without Misato's plannings? Each one of the players had their own opinion concerning this matter. [ Stupid girls.] Asuka thought. [If they think that by pulling this little joke they're going to win, then they're even dumber than I first thought. This won't change anything.] [Why am I even here?] Shinji asked himself. [I don't want to play basketball. I don't want to be an Eva pilot. Why did they had to choose me? I'm not good at this. I should be warming up the bench instead.] [Gee, talk about bad taste in music.] Touji thought. [That was low. And here I thought those girls didn't play dirty. Well, Touji... time to get your butt in gear.] [Man, what a rip-off.] Kensuke complained. ['This is considered as an Eva pilot's basic training' they say. 'If you want to be an Eva pilot you have to play basketball' they say. And the worst thing is that I actually believed them. Well... at least it'll be over soon.] And as for Rei... [Dale a tu cuerpo alegría, Macarena. Eeeee, Maaacarena....] Scary, isn't it? Asuka had the ball and the intention to keep it as well. If one of those Sailor Sluts even dared to come near, she'd give'em a piece of her mind. As she gave it more thought, this little virus had brought something good in the end. Now that she wasn't chained to that communicator, Misato couldn't hold her on a short leash, which meant that she could pretty much do whatever she wanted now... such as repaying that ditz for making a fool out of her. Oh yes... payback time was near... Shinji and Touji ran along Asuka as they tried to open their way through the Sailor's basket. The second child was quickly blocked by Mars, while the other two had Venus and Mercury marking them. Asuka tried to pivot her way free, but her adversary didn't give her a chance to move freely. Well... it would appear that she would have to get even with Mars first instead of Moon. With a last turn, Asuka 'accidentally' sunk her elbow on the Fire Senshi's ribs, putting her out of commission. Her satisfaction didn't last long when Jupiter stole the ball while she wasn't looking. Rei tried to prevent another two points, but before she made it to Jupiter, this one made a back pass to Mercury, who performed a great three point shot. 32 to 27, and Asuka was not happy. "Hey! What's your problem!?!" Mars spat as she pushed her aggressor with both hands. "Oh, I'm sorry. Was that you I just hit?" the girl responded sarcastically. "Don't play dumb!! You did that on purpose!" Mars replied, "Hey, referee, didn't you see..." Yes, it was kinda hard to get Kintaro's attention while this one was fully concentrated in looking (or should I say drooling) at one of Mars' teammates. Namely, Sailor Venus. The Fire Shenshi decided to forget about it. But still, if Asuka wanted to play rough, then so be it. Kintaro was definitively not going to notice it anyway. The game went on thereafter, showing some unexpected changes in the scoring board (for the public at least). After six minutes of gameplay, both teams were evenly matched with 38 points. It was quite obvious though that Team Nerv had lost it's edge and that it's player's skills weren't as admirable as during the first half of the game. Asuka hated to admit it, but without Misato's help, this game was getting more and more difficult to win. Especially since Shinji and Kensuke weren't very good at this sport to begin with. Actually, the only thing which made the two of them 'work' were the instructions they received from the Nerv staff which consisted in supporting the strong members of the team instead of going 'solo'. Shinji was left with the ball and near the small area of the Senshi's basket. Much to his grief, none of his comrades were free to receive a pass, not to mention that Sailor Venus was getting clos... approaching dangerously in order to steal the sphered object from his hands (almost fell there again). Left without much of a choice, he threw the ball towards the hoop, begging that it would enter. Which it didn't. Mars won the rebound over Asuka (as her hip 'accidentally' knocked her opponent off while they were both in mid air) and quickly ran to the other side of the field. Touji was already catching up with her when she suddenly sent the ball behind, right into Mercury's hands. Another three points for the Senshi Team. Nerv's second child was not pleased by the way her opponent stole the ball. Unfortunately, Kintaro saw nothing... for a change. With an urge to dish out her frustration, she took Shinji as her emotional punching bag and didn't retained herself in telling him what sort of an incompetent idiot he was for missing such an easy shot. Her little speach also did a wonderful job in sinking the boy's self-esteem to new levels. [I wonder what's taking Ritsuko so long to fix the computer.] Kensuke thought. [We're dying out here!] Meanwhile, with the rest of Team Nerv: "Damn it!!" Ritsuko cursed. "I can't fix this!!" "What do you mean you can't fix it?" Misato asked, no less frustrated. "You're our top computer engineer. How can you understand something as complex as the MAGI and not be able to fix this piece of crap!" "It's this darn foreign computer system." she explained. "There's no way to make it work!!" By this time, Gendou Ikari made a mental note NOT to buy more software from Microsoft. As he took his eyes towards the field, he realized, with great annoyance, that the children weren't doing so well either. This virus turned out to be an unexpected hindrance which would cost him the game if he didn't came up with a solution soon. "Commander!" Misato told him, getting therefore his attention. "Allow me to replace Kensuke in the game." Gendou gave this some thought. Surely fixing the virus was an impossibility now. That plus the fact that there were only three minutes left before the end of the match with the scoreboard 46 to 38 in favor of the Sailor Senshi Team. Not to mention that, unlike previous situations, this strategy was Misato's idea instead of his. Therefore he wouldn't have to come up with some sort of lame excuse to justify this mission's failure since it would be all her fault. Heck! Why not? Gendou ask for a time-out in order to do the change. "Another time-out?" Jupiter asked. "This must be their last one." "I'm sure they're just trying to buy some time to fix the virus." Mars commented. "It won't help much though." Mercury told them. "It'll take them at least an hour to create a remedy." "Wait, they're changing players." Moon remarked. "Replacing number 7 from the Nerv Team, comes Misato Katsuragi wearing number 5." Belldandy announced. Major Katsuragi made her way to the court once she put her basketball gear on. The Senshi began to wonder if this was either Nerv's secret weapon or just a desperate attempt to fix things when it was already clear that they were going to lose. The answer didn't took long in showing up when Misato got the ball. Using some interesting moves, the purple haired one dodged Sailor Mars and moved closer to the basket. Venus was about to cut her pass, but the ball changed owner by that time. Asuka was now taking it even closer to the Sailor's area. Moon and Mercury closed up on her in order to obstruct the throw. What they didn't expect was for the girl to make a pass back to Misato who was now unmarked. And the scoreboard changed 46 to 40. [Just luck.] Mars told herself. Luck, however, was starting to side more with the Nerv Team afterwards. Not enough to make a drastic change, but the Senshi had to admit that Misato was by far a better player than Kensuke. He height, which rivaled Jupiter's, had also been determinant during several rebounds. There were only two minutes left before the end of the match, and the scoreboard was 49 to 44 in favor of the Senshi Team, but with the Nerv Team close behind. Much too close for the short skirted ones' liking. "Jupiter, here!!" Venus shouted. The pass made it to her, but the blond's route was blocked by Misato. The Senshi tried to dribble her way around, but she was unable to brush off her adversary. Her friends were also busy trying to get rid of their respective marks in order to receive a pass. Well... all except Sailor Moon who freed herself from Shinji. It was risky, but Venus was left with little options. She wasn't sure for how long she could protect the ball and she was already very weary. Time to let the leader take care of it. Usagi got the pass indeed and was making a good job in entering the small area, but Rei Ayanami soon became her obstacle. She tried to find some support from her Senshi friends, but ended up with the same problem Venus did moments ago. The only thing she could think of doing now was trying to score a basket. If only she felt more confident in her aiming this wouldn't represent such a problem for her. Not to mention that her adversary wasn't going to make things easier. Well... she could try one other thing, although it probably wouldn't work. "Hey! What's that!?!" she stated pointing to the floor. [I can't believe I'm actually doing this. No one falls for that.] No one except Rei at least. The first child actually let her guard down and took her eyes to her feet. Sailor Moon couldn't believe her luck and sent the ball upwards before it was too late. The ball actually did enter the hoop, much to her joy. 51 to 44. "You idiot!!" Asuka yelled at Rei, "How could you be so dumb to fall for that???" "She sounded very honest." the girl replied with her sullen attitude. "And you believed her??" "Yes." "Forget it!! I should know better than to reason with you!" Asuka declared. "Listening to that Macarena song must have rotten your brain even more than it already is!" The game resumed and the ball was in Team Nerv's hands. Misato dashed towards the basket but didn't made it any further when Kintaro blew his whistle. The game was over and the Sailor Senshis had won. The public gave the winners a very deserved round of applause and cheers. The winners jumped and shouted in sign of victory. The losers... well... they weren't so happy about it. Maybe if Misato had entered earlier things might have been different. Then again, maybe if the Sailor Senshi had used their powers, things would've been more interesting. Oh well, what's done is done, good night people, see you next game. ********** "Well, Isamu is on his way." Shinobu told his partner. "Ryouga should be here in a couple of hours." "Yes. And remind me to put an electric fence outside UBT so he won't get away again." Narsus added jokingly. "Well... It's a thought." "Changing subject, I did get some sort of satisfaction in seeing the Senshi Team win." Narsus added. "At least all that trickery commander Ikari pulled on us didn't paid off." "So sorry for taking so much of your time with those forms, gentlemen." said a voice behind the two of them. Not surprisingly, it was Gendou himself. "Commander Ikari," Shinobu began, "What brings you here to this *restricted* area?" "Actually, I'm here to offer you two a deal." he explained. "I'm sorry, commander." Narsus told him, "but we don't accept bribes. Your team lost and nothing can change that." "No bribes in the least, gentlemen." he made clear. "Actually, my proposal has nothing to do with Team Nerv and I'm sure you'll accept it once you hear me out." ********** Daniel Jimenez took a stroll back home. He always looked forward to this time of year. Parties, big feasts, music, the good ol' tradition, telling anecdotes. That among other things. This year's festivities would turn out great, he could feel it. As he walked down the road most farmers used to take their cattle, he noticed a particular figure. Funny, he hadn't seen this person in town before. The guy noticed him as well and approached him asking something in a language unknown to Daniel. Looking at him inquisitively, he asked the stranger if he could help him, to which he got another question, only this time in English. Daniel's English was not the best, but at least he could understand it enough to figure out that this guy was *really* lost. He wondered if he even knew where he was. "Tokyo?"
