NAME: Arlakk.

SEX: Male.

AGE: Judging from his gray hair, more than 50 years old.

APPEARANCE:
Arlakk always dresses in black clothing. His black cape with a high collar and a rather big hat keep his eyes hidden in shadows all the time. Only his shoulder length gray hair is shown. Added to that, he always caries a 4 feet tall scepter shaped like a spider at the top which he holds in his right hand. His other hand is hidden under his cape most of the time.

POST: - Chief of Magical affairs (dubbed "chief of Hocus Pocus" by Eron).
             - Master of Tomorrow.

PERSONALITY:
Arlakk is a quiet, cryptic individual. He only talks when necessary or when this would serve his interests in some way. Although loyal to his lord, Arlakk tends to think for himself first (to some degree of course, in order to avoid upsetting his lord). However, Arlakk doesn’t kid around during a mission and will achieve great results, if someone steps in his way, he won’t hesitate to dispose of him/her... and will even find great pleasure in doing so. For him, the universe is a place where only the strongest survive. Besides, serving the Lord on his mission to collect Essence Spheres has been very fruitful for Arlakk in taking a hold of some very interesting magical knowledge and artifacts from all the worlds they have ravaged.

As a side note, Arlakk doesn't get along too well with Eron. But will cooperate with the genetic freak if his superior orders it.

FIGHTING SKILLS: Arlakk's fighting skills are 100% magical. The closest thing to hand to hand combat you'll ever see him do is hitting or parrying with his scepter.

ABILITIES:
Since Arlakk is a Necromancer, raising the dead, summoning evil spirits or forming an army of skeletons/zombies is what he does best. However, this guy has all kind of spells under his sleeve, fitting all sorts of situations. From fireballs to magic shields, illusions as well as charm spells. All that without counting the miscellaneous magical items he has in his laboratory.

Although his list of spells is quite huge, Arlakk has a couple of favorite ones he uses the most:

Fireball: Typical fireball. It explodes upon impact, covering a rather big area.
Lighting bolt: A blast of pure lighting.
Shadow Lord: With this spell, Arlakk takes the form of a shadow. He can then merge with other shadows in the area and give them shape as he wishes. Monsters, weapons, anything he thinks of. Besides, he is also immune to physical attack, since his body is now in another plain of existence, but magic can still hurt him.
Phantasmal force: Basically, this is an illusion spell. He can make the victim see what he wants to.
Monster summoning: Arlakk's influence in other planes is rather strong. By means of this spell, the necromancer can summon magical creatures who will serve him without asking questions. The monster's power and size represents the time and energy Arlakk is spending in order to control it.
Polymorph: Also known as metamorphosis. With this spell, Arlakk can transform himself (or another person) in any kind of non magical creature he wants.
Globe of invulnerability: A magical barrier which protects him from every single angle from any sort of magical attacks. Physical attacks do harm him though.
Raise the dead: If there are any corpses or similar in the area, Arlakk will control them like puppets.
Charm person: Also known as 'taking control of a person's mind'. Difucult to perform on individuals with great willpower.

OTHER EQUIPMENT FOR BATTLE:
Arlakk isn't very fond on technology, but he wears the transporter pin (see Sorine’s profile for more detail) in case of emergencies. He always carries his scepter which enables him to cast spells a lot faster, not to mention that it also has a couple of magical properties as well.
